My first post of 2012 will be a post reminiscing 2011, what we've been through, where we went and what we did throughout the year. An exciting year, a whole new working experience with a whole new world discovery, and tonnes of new activities. Vogue betul 2011 saya ni!



What We Celebrated

My Job Promotion! Alhamdulillah :)

Fahim's Birthday, a small party with Thomas-themed and a cake from Coffee Bean.

Fathi, Harith & Farhah's Birthday - small scale again, nevertheless meriah juga.

Raya Puasa in Alor Setar, Penang, Arau, Sik, Gurun, Sg Petani. Pheww!

Countless family luncheons and dinners organized at home sweet home and other dining places :) 

Where We've Been
Malacca - February. Giler punya berjalan sampai boring.
Kuantan (Hyatt) - March with the whole crew. Makan sampai giler kenyang.
Port Dickson (Avillion) - March.
Kuantan (Swiss Garden) - April. Soulmate, Fahim and me only.
Terengganu (Primula) - October. Kemasik Beach is the most unforgettable during this trip.
Kuantan - November

Kuching (Pullman) - November. Boring. Sensorang. 

Hatyai (Palace) - December
Port Dickson (Regency) - December
Langkawi (GC) - December

Not including normal trips to museums, dining places, parks, soulmate's official trips, so on and so forth.

We've been to Langkawi for at least 5 times. And Oriental Village is a must, although our last visit didn't include cable car ride to the top of Mat Cincang.

Got myself a twitter account in June (after much persuasion from soulmate, who's been tweeting since 2009)
Met a few online friends, so much cooler than old friends. Really.
Soulmate gi umrah, missed him for 3 weeks. :p

Last night was spent browsing old piccas. Fahim dulu yang tembun sekarang hitam legam dan kurus. :p

In term of relationship, there may have been a few bad apples out of the tree but that didn't stop me from enjoying the apple. Ape pepatah kan ini? And being with someone for over 10 years makes you know him, and vice versa, and makes things which were very much complicated over those years seems like an easy path to take now and in the years to come. I cherish every people who have been and still are a part of my life.

There are also a few decisions made, that made me either wiser or dumber. But those were all part of learning, life in progress, and I am glad that I didn't regret any. Still, more is needed for me to learn how to be a good muslimah. But that's another story - planning for 2012. Oh and yes, I stop swearing and cursing people, tinggal beberapa perkataan mcm bodoh n lembap n benci n menyampah aje.. Sekarang senyum aje beb, dan kasi innuendos dalam diam sahaja. Because now when I did look back at my old self, mase I thought it was cool to swear and curse and at constant rage, rase sangat bodoh sebab tak reti nak jaga mulut. Dan rase malu jugak sebab kalau anak baca perangai ibu yang 'suka menyembur' (sesiapa sahaja n atas sebab ape sahaja). Wiser when growing old lah kot lagi bagus :) 

The word dumba55 still applies to those slow drivers on the right lane - itu lane memotong for god's sake.
