How To Play Angry Birds When You Don't Own an iPad or iPhone

According to Rovio's website, millions downloaded Angry Birds either using iPad or iPhone since 2009. Since DH got an iPad from his workplace we've (the kids and I) been arguing, fighting over who will get their hands on that iPad. To play this game of course, smash those piggies with colorful birds. It's so addictive. I am addicted. I spent nearly a hundred ringgit to buy angry birds merchandise at Penang recently.

But, arguing and fighting with my kids is not good eh, so I try to find other ways to play angry birds. Unknown to me that angry birds is such a worldwide phenomenon that every company try to offer something .. well.. related to angry birds. And these companies made angry birds available to us all, with or without an iPad or iPhone. 

1) Use Intel AppUp

Are you familiar with apple's app store? Where you could browse and download various applications including games and utilities. Or maybe if you own a samsung device, probably a galaxy tab, you have samsung apps where you could do the same thing - browse and download any applications you like on your device. Well now you could install the Intel AppUp, a service that allows you to browse and download (free or buy) applications you like. However, only  netbooks with Specific Windows OS supports this application.

I've downloaded it for my Windows 7 netbook and it worked brilliantly! And within minutes I managed to buy Angry Birds for USD4. Easy! Within an hour I downloaded 4 games and that is crazy. :D

But the downside is, not all Windows version is supported. No worries, coz I figured out the next solution for you (and my other notebook).

2) Use Your Beloved Google Chrome Browser (LOVE this!)

All you have to do is have a notebook or pc or whatever and install the latest chrome updates. The latest chrome offers Web Apps like no other browser - apps you could install on chrome and run without actually installing it in your hard disk. Just log on to your google account and go to Web Store. You will be surprised when you see the list of apps there. Angry birds is the top app! Just install them and within seconds you could sling those birds! Love Love Love! My facebook addiction slowly fades away now :p
