Souce Code - The Other Source Code With Jake Gyllenhaal In It

Sweeeeeeeet!

You remember last time I was nagging about how hard it is to get a movie date with my spouse? Well, IDK whether he read that entry and realized it but eventually we went out for a movie date last Saturday. YEAY! Sangat suka sebab dia 2 in 1. Movie date + yummy Jake played the main character. OK. Tak kisahlah umur dah lanjut tapi still have celebrity crush tapi I heart Jake. Sori bang. Kalau abang kurus ke gemuk ke saya suka jugak. Hahahaha

At first I thought Source Code ni macam Swordfish atau Matrix atau at least The Social Network. Masa mula2 dengar Source Code and Jake in it, dalam hati dah cakap Jake langsung tak nampak mcm geek utk berlakon cerita geek mcm Source Code ni. But I was wrong. The synopsis goes "When decorated soldier Captain Colter Stevens (Jake Gyllenhaal) wakes up in the body of an unknown man, he discovers he’s part of a mission to find the bomber of a Chicago commuter train. In an assignment unlike any he’s ever known, he learns he’s part of a government experiment called the “Source Code,” a program that enables him to cross over into another man's identity in the last 8 minutes of his life. With a second, much larger target threatening to kill millions in downtown Chicago, Colter re-lives the incident over and over again, gathering clues each time, until he can solve the mystery of who is behind the bombs and prevent the next attack."

Cerita ni takde intro panjang2 mcm cerita cinta remaja or even twilight saga. Start2 cerita terus straight to his mission. It took me a while to understand what's going on walaupun lepas baca sinopsis. Akak kan blurrr. Tapi bila dah faham jalan ceritanya, timbullah rasa sedih, simpati, suka, geram, kelakar, senang cerita semualah ada dalam cerita ni. Akak sedih dek non tengok minit2 terakhir cerita ni. Tapi tak nangislah sebab cover macho. Dan akak taknak kasi spoiler juga. Cukuplah sekadar jalan cerita dia memang menarik n we both glued to the screen sampailah habis cerita. Kalau nak ikut logik ke apa memang ade yang out sikit tapi this is a film, imaginations run wild, bukan macam realiti yang ini tak betul itu salah kan? 

Soo, if you are a Jake's fan, you must watch it. If you're a movie fan you should watch it. RM11 will not be wasted. 

Sebelum tu, here are stills from Source Code (I couldn't find the one where ... eh tokleh bagitahu spoiler) and I still think that Jake as Prince of Persia lagi ganteng. Hahaha
